Common Questions Before You Reach Out
What information should I include in a bid inquiry?
At minimum: the location and facility type, the scope or plan set, a target start date, and whether prevailing wage applies. Those four answers determine whether we can quote from the desk or need a walkthrough first. If it is a public works package, sending the solicitation number and the bid due date up front lets us confirm we can meet the schedule before either of us spends time on it. Photos help more than descriptions on turn and repair work.
Do you work with property management companies?
Regularly, and it is a large share of what we do. We hold standing itemized rate agreements with repeat portfolios so unit turns price predictably rather than being requoted each time, and we batch multiple properties into a single mobilization where geography allows. What areas do you serve?
Pierce, King, and Thurston Counties are our core territory, with Tacoma as home base and regular work through Puyallup, Auburn, Renton, Lakewood, Olympia, and the surrounding cities. How quickly will I hear back?
Within one business day for standard inquiries, and same day for urgent property management requests during business hours. If you need a walkthrough, we can usually get someone on site within the same week across Pierce and King Counties. Bid deadlines get priority: if you tell us the due date in your first message, we work backward from it rather than treating it as a normal queue item.
Are you certified for public and institutional work?
Yes. Alpha Edge is an SBA certified SDVOSB and VOSB, a Washington State certified MBE, registered in SAM.gov and on the MRSC Small Works Roster, and licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington. Documentation for a bid package is on our certifications page or available on request.
