Alpha Edge Construction is an owner-operated general contracting firm based in Tacoma, Washington, founded by George Rodriguez and Samuel Meyer on a simple premise: construction and facility work should be handled with the same rigor as any other professional service — clear scopes, honest numbers, and work that holds up.
Today, Alpha Edge operates across two connected lanes. On one side, we execute public works and commercial contracts — competitively bidding through the MRSC Small Works Roster and working directly with government agencies, school districts, and public institutions across Washington. On the other, we provide dependable maintenance, turn, and tenant improvement services for property management companies overseeing residential and commercial portfolios throughout the South Sound. Safety and Discipline in Occupied Facilities
We work in active healthcare, office, retail, and public facilities where safety, cleanliness, and coordination are non-negotiable. Our crews operate in compliance with OSHA standards, local regulations, and site-specific safety requirements, with the documentation and training to back it up.

In practice that discipline looks fairly mundane day to day, which is the point. Before mobilization we walk the space with facility staff to map access routes, elevator and dock windows, and any area that cannot lose power or water during business hours. Crews check in with a single point of contact each morning and send a short end-of-day note covering what moved, what is still open, and anything the building needs to know before tomorrow. Containment goes up before demolition rather than after somebody complains about dust. Every toolbox talk, RRP test result, and site-specific safety plan is logged as it happens, so when an agency or property manager asks for documentation six months later it already exists instead of being reconstructed from memory.

Samuel Meyer
Director of Operations & Co-Founder
Samuel leads field operations with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential construction. He is responsible for on-site execution, safety compliance, and quality control. His background in civil service and union environments reinforces our commitment to efficiency, safety, and consistent results.
